What is the first thing you need to start marketing on the internet?

You will need to determine what product you want to market. Probably something you have some experience doing. Maybe one of your hobbies. It helps to find something you enjoy, it makes the slow times less frustrating. What do you like doing? Everyone is an expert at something; start making a list of these (write them down). I know this seems like a terrible idea but it is a neccessary one; you will begin to see why later.

For now, just work on creating your list of things you are good at or like doing. Take your time and think about it; make a good and complete list. What does your friends and aquaintences think your good at?

After you have created your list, it's time to evaluate the list. I usually create what I call the "pros" and "cons" in other words; each item on the list is evaluated into positive and negative thoughts create two columns one pro, the other con. Each item on the list should be evaluated.
