How Do I Know My Product Will Sell?

After you've come up with a product, you will want to do some searching to determine if there is a market. This is an area that can be accomplished using search engines. Think of some terms or keywords that describes your product. It is usually best if there are several searches related to your idea or product. If you find a good number of related searches you can be sure there is a market. Check if your product already exists, if your product isn't unique, look for something else or improve what exists.

Check places like eBay, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, thes place sell millions of dollars worth of products every year. They have to know what is selling and what isn't; check and see if a market exists for your product. If it does and isn't saturated, go for it. The nice thing about internet marketing is you can get in and try it, and if it doesn't work; find something else.

Let some one else do the initial work of developing a market. Your time and money can be better spent on developing your own, unique selling position within a market, that already exists. If their is some competition, it means their are paying customers for the product. If there are thousands competing; look for a better niche.
